PicStats offers a service that track your image visiting statistics, registered user will be allowed to upload image and given a piece of Javascript code to put on their site, you can call it an image counter, but PicStats really provide comprehensive statistics report, so it's a handy utility for album/gallery owner to analysis the user preference. Except one thing, you must upload image first, that makes it also an image hosting service, which is a money-burning service after all. Moreover, you will be asked to "Create a new picture campaign" first time you login, which makes PicStats a marketing tool as well.
